Comments: My great-great grandfather was Benjamin Alford Fortson who is buried in the Beulah Cemetary near Albertville, Alabama. I am interested in finding out how you are related to the Fortsons. From what I know, the Fortsons did not originat from Ireland, however the Shireys in my family did. (Bessie Shirey, daughter of Joseph Washington Shirey and married Wiley Fortson.)

Comments: I always heard we were French? I have a good bit of genealology on SC Seays. I live in Dawsonville GA and there were Seays here before we moved here in 1973.
I would like to know if we are all the same seay's

Comments: Thank you Charles for such a precious gift to our family. This site is very informative, interesting and a curiosity builder. It has renewed my curiosity about my roots. I will visit my extended family here often.
